My formal education is in film & TV production and theory, and I spent years in the L.A. production scene (fishing between shoots, of course). I've worked on projects ranging from scrappy interstitials, to national commercials and shows, to A-list features (including A River Runs Through It). I've also drawn enough storyboards to be familiar with shot-by-shot structure and flow.

I can train actors in casting and fishing, whether that means a set of mimic moves for quick shots, or more involved work for longer-term needs. I have experience with motion capture and biomechanics, and I can interface with an actor's personal trainer.

Need on-screen fly-fishing talent? I can provide that, too, as either a double or an actor. I can play older and younger and have doubled for multiple characters in a single shoot. Being right at six feet with a medium build offers versatility, as well.

Even if our schedules don't mesh, or you need someone who has specialty knowledge and equipment (such as a fly-fishing charter captain) along with TV/film experience, I may still be able to point you in the right direction.
